Our finca Can Cabota consists of about 4 hectares of fields, surrounded by 40 hectares of wild forest. There is the river 'Manol' running through the finca, with crystal clear (and drinkable) water and beautiful swimming spots (note, in dry summers the Manol can be dry). Can Cabota is a home to wildlife such as wild boars, deer, foxes and birds. Moreover, the forest offers a variety of edible wild plants and mushrooms.

Here you will find:

- pristine wilderness

- inspiration: how we are living off-grid with nature and traditionally re-building ancient ruins

- Mediterranean Sea at 50 minutes

- you can easily walk into the Pyrenees. High pyrenees hour's drive

It's a nature retreat, so expect an immersion in the wilderness. The water comes from the source and river and after use it runs back onto the land, the energy comes from solar panels. All organic waste (including from the toilets) is composted into fertile soil.

  • there is an outdoor communal kitchen with fridge. Cooking at your camping spot is only allowed in a camper van.

  • electricity is available in the outdoor kitchen: enough for your phone, but leave your hair dryer, hair straightener and electric shaver at home. There is no electricity at the campsite. If you need to charge a laptop, please let us know.

  • there are 2 showers and 3 eco toilets

  • internet or telephone coverage you'll find at 2 minutes walk from the campsite

  • please use water consciously

  • only use biodegradable/organic care products (shower gel, shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, etc). You can also buy these here.

  • due to the risk of forest fires, campfires are only allowed between October 15 and March 15, provided the weather is humid. And only at the campfire spot. Smoking is allowed, but ashes and sigarets always go in the ashtray or a glass jar.

  • in the village of Lladó (hour walk or 15 min car) you will find a small supermarket, pharmacy, coffee shop, bar and two restaurants.

  • we like to keep it small: this page is only visible to people with the link
